Key Mandates 

1. Strategic Vision & Global Positioning 

• Shape a forward-looking strategy that strengthens HCU’s reputation as a regional hub for preventive medicine, public health innovation, and socially driven education. 

• Represent the university globally, building partnerships across universities, research institutes, NGOs, health ministries, and international agencies. 

2. Academic Leadership & Research Advancement 

• Elevate academic quality across health science disciplines through evidence-based curricula, clinical immersion, and interprofessional collaboration. 

• Advance research that generates affordable, scalable, and community-centered preventive healthcare solutions. 

• Strengthen translational research pipelines that improve real-world health outcomes. 

3. Social Service & Community Health Impact 

• Lead major public health outreach programs including mobile clinics, rural screenings, early-detection campaigns, and underserved community initiatives. 

• Ensure the university remains deeply connected to its founding mission of service, compassion, and social responsibility. 

4. Institutional Governance & Ethical Stewardship 

• Work with the Board of Trustees to uphold strong governance, transparency, and long-term sustainability. 

• Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards for health sciences and higher education. 

5. Financial Sustainability & Global Fundraising 

• Develop robust, diversified revenue streams while maintaining the university’s non-profit mission. 

• Cultivate philanthropic partnerships, international donors, foundations, and global health agencies to support research, scholarships, and community programs. 

6. Talent Development & Organizational Culture 

• Recruit, inspire, and retain outstanding faculty, clinicians, and researchers from Thailand and abroad. Strengthen a culture of innovation, integrity, inclusion, and service to society. 

7. Healthcare System Integration & Infrastructure Development 

• Oversee the effective operation of teaching hospitals, research centers, and community-based clinical services. 

• Expand modern facilities that support hands-on training, digital health innovation, and population health research.
