Job description

Forbes Thailand is seeking a passionate storyteller who is a keen observer of the human condition, social evolution and technological evolution for the permanent position of Editor-in-Chief. 

The ideal candidate will lead Thailand's premier business and lifestyle magazine in its pursuit of excellence, inspiration and spotlighting the people and trends that will lead and influence social and economic development in the future. 

As Editor-in-Chief, you will be the driving force behind Forbes Thailand’s editorial vision. You’ll lead a dynamic team of journalists, editors, and contributors to deliver high-impact content that informs, inspires, and influences Thailand’s business elite and aspiring entrepreneurs.  

You will: 

  • Set and execute editorial strategy aligned with Forbes’ global standards and local relevance. 
  • Oversee all content platforms—print, digital, social, and events. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented writers and editors. 
  • Build relationships with thought leaders, CEOs, and changemakers. 
  • Ensure journalistic excellence through rigorous editorial standards and fact-checking. 
  • Be the public face of the Forbes Thailand brand in print, multimedia and at events.  

 What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum of 10+ years in journalism, with at least 3 years in a senior editorial leadership role at a leading newspaper, magazine or news agency. 
  • Deep understanding of business, finance, and economic trends in Thailand and globally. 
  • Strong editorial judgment and a flair for compelling storytelling. 
  • A perfect command of Thai and English. 
  • A strategic thinker with a digital-first mindset and experience in multimedia content.
