Job description

The Digital Media section of Thailand's leading English-language newspaper, the Bangkok Post, is looking for a self-motivated, energetic person for the position of Online Journalist.

Job Descriptions

  • Research, report and write news and feature stories for online.
  • Assist in conceptualizing and developing multimedia contents.
  • Create video features both in Thai and English for Bangkok Post's online presence.
  • Conduct LIVE reporting or show hosting for Bangkok Post Online.
  • Assist in the production of video content for the website, including script writing, script editing, translation and research.
  • Others as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communications or related fields.
  • 2-5 years of experiences in similar role.
  • Professional level of written and verbal English language skills.
  • Good personality and strong communication skills to present video stories and conduct live reporting. Have a commanding presence on camera.
  • Proficiency in storytelling and creative writing.
  • Abilitiy in using video editing solfwares (preferred).
