Duties & Responsibilities
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes at is best!
• Maintain and enhance the food products through creative menu development and presentation. Check for plating accuracy (garnish, portion size, correct serving dish etc.)
• Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
• Order, prep, and keep stocked the common ingredients for all cooking stations, including meat, fish, vegetables, spices, etc.
• Knowledge of all allergens, food and safety regulations
• Passionate, creative and drive to succeed
• Great cooking skills
Qualification
• Thai nationality
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Chef de Partie or 3 years as Demi Chef in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
• Bachelor degree, Diploma or Vocational but high experiences will be considered.
• Have Experience in Mediterranean Europe ( Spanish, Portugese, Italian and Greek food ) Especially Seafood & Desert
• Certificate in Restaurant or related field will be advantaged
• Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage. Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
