Peace Corps in Thailand

The U.S. Peace Corps is an independent agency of the U.S. Government which sends American volunteers to serve in developing countries worldwide. The program in Thailand was started in 1962 and over 5,000 Americans have worked in rural communities all over the country.  Today, there are over 100 American volunteers serving as English teachers and youth development workers in the four regions of Thailand.
