General:
Shrewsbury International School Bangkok is one of South East Asia’s outstanding international schools. It has two campuses in Bangkok; Riverside and City Campus.
Riverside (SHR) currently has 1,850 students enrolled from Early Years to Sixth Form. The School boasts exceptional examination results and particular strengths in the creative arts, design and sport. The Riverside campus enjoys a spectacular setting on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the heart of Bangkok where the teaching environments are spacious, fully equipped and dramatic. In September 2021, the Senior School at Riverside expanded its capacity adding a range of spectacular new facilities.
There is ready access by road and boat, which provides an easy and quick link to Bangkok’s Skytrain and the city centre.
City Campus (SHC) is a purpose-built primary school in the heart of Bangkok. The campus is designed specifically for children aged 2-11 years old. 672 places are available from Nursery (Age 2+) to Year 6 (Ages 1 1+).
The school operates on 25,000sqm of learning space. There are four major buildings, which house state-of-the-art facilities for Early Years, Primary, Sport and Creative Arts.
Both City Campus and Riverside share the same values, ethos and mission. The campuses come together to form Shrewsbury International School Bangkok. Students from City Campus graduate to Riverside in Year 7 (Age 12+).

Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager (SHR and SHC) is a key member of the Shrewsbury Bangkok Marketing team. They will be responsible to the Riverside Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with dotted-line reporting relationships with the City Marketing and Communications Manager.
In close liaison with the Riverside and City Campus Marketing Managers, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing all digital advertising, tracking analytics and refining campaigns. They will be responsible for development, maintenance and optimisation of the Shrewsbury Bangkok website. They will work closely with both campuses to ensure availability of recent, high-quality photography and videography.
This role will work cross-campus, spending 3-4 days at Riverside and 1-2 days at City Campus each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Media
- To manage SEO and keep SHR/SHC as top 3 search;
- To develop effective digital advertising plans to support admissions targets using appropriate platforms to support all Shrewsbury Bangkok marketing campaigns;
- To create, manage and optimise campaigns to generate leads through targeted PPC and paid social media platforms;
- To work with the Graphics team to create engaging artwork to support agreed campaigns;
- To agree campaign budgets with site Marketing Managers and manage expenditure to optimise the ROI;
- To execute digital advertising plan and monitor performance to an agreed schedule using all available analytics tools;
- To ensure effective tracking and reporting of digital activity to improve impact and efficiency, reporting findings to non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers in a way that allows them to make clear value-for-money judgements and plan accordingly;
- To initiate SEM
- To support in planning in order to reach right target audience and achieve our goals;
- To review and refine digital personas to ensure effective targeting;
- To develop and regularly review audience strategy and creation in social platforms;
- To ensure all school digital channels are fully integrated, e.g. ensure the school organic search strategy is aligned with PPC activities;
- To actively look for new opportunities and identify trends and new features within the paid search and social channels to improve performance against agreed KPIs;
- To ensure that digital advertising content aligns with brand guidelines and any shared campaign concepts across all media (including print).
Social Media (Organic):
- To develop strategies to increase and enhance brand presence on social media, working with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, effective and safe use across all channels;
- To monitor use of social media (school channels) to ensure appropriate use and representation of the school by other parties and report/respond as appropriate as agreed by the relevant site Marketing Manager or Bangkok Director of Marketing;
- To manage administrative settings and authorised users of school channels, devising and implementing training for other staff;
- To increase target audience & members of followers;
- To monitor and respond to changes in the operating and legislative frameworks of third party digital platforms to ensure compliance consistency and continued effectiveness of these changing environments;
- To support Riverside Associate Manager – Content and City Campus Marketing manager to plan and schedule organic social media content;
- To monitor and boost appropriate organic social media posts for both Riverside and City campus;
- To set goals and achieve KPI;
- To develop strategies to increase number of followers and engagements across all social platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Line);
- Monitor competitors and report their monthly stories;
- Compare and analyse results and prepare and initiate ideas for improvement.
Website
- To work with internal and external stakeholders, including admissions, marketing, senior leaders and academic staff across Shrewsbury Bangkok to deliver and maintain an engaging and effective website;
- To take a lead role in managing website re-design at times of contract renewal;
- To ensure that user experience of the website is optimised on all viewing platforms;
- To develop a productive working relationship with chosen website developers, e.g. Finalsite, track performance, track Leads, update content on website;
- To obtain and collate all copy and creative content, including images, videos, animations for website;
- To ensure website is optimised for all viewing platforms;
- To manage SEO and take necessary action to maximise website speed and performance;
- To support all marketing campaigns by designing and delivering relevant landing pages, data capture forms, etc.
- To keep abreast of website and SEO trends, legislative developments and opportunities/innovations for further website enhancements;
- SEM.
Other responsibilities
- To provide reports on performance of website SEO and all digital campaigns, paid and organic, for Marketing meetings, SMT, EXCO, Governors, meetings and others as requested;
- To provide design and execution support on digital event experiences, e.g., live streaming of events;
- Track performance of each push/each ads & connecting it leads generation;
- To work closely and regularly with the Marketing teams at both campuses, academic departments and other internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, engaging, factual and current representation of their respective presence on the school website;
- To review options to implement a CRM system across Shrewsbury Bangkok, balancing operating need, availability of current systems, priorities of different departments and ensure that any implementation and transition to a new system can be effectively achieved without operational disruption;
- To share digital search advertising, website and SEO best practices across the Shrewsbury Bangkok Marketing function helping to deliver advice and training for team members;
- To make a full contribution to Marketing and Admissions events at both campuses, as required;
- To undertake any other appropriate tasks as directed by the line manager.
Candidate Profile:
Essential skills and experience:
- A minimum of three years of experience in creating, executing and managing paid search and paid social campaigns;
- Demonstrable experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook advertising, etc.
- Experience of budget and campaign optimisation;
- Experience of creating social media content strategies and planning;
- Experience with reporting and dashboards;
- Extensive experience of website design, maintenance and optimisation;
- Photography and videography planning and direction skills;
- Excellent team player, ideally with experience of supporting a multi-site operation;
- Confident dealing with colleagues at all levels;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong project management and organisational skills;
- Meticulous attention to detail;
- Able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
Additional skills that would be advantageous:
- Experience of working in a media and digital agency;
- Experience of working in an educational environment;
- Video and podcast production;
- Ability to communicate in Thai (useful but not essential);
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
Child Safeguarding:
