Position: Content Manager

Reports to: Sales and Marketing Director

Salary: Competitive Salary

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams to plan, create and publish engaging content-blogs, videos, whiteboard videos, quizzes, etc.
  • Manage freelance writers, edit, proofread and improve writer's posts
  • Manage stakeholders (including external) to build and execute a social media strategy aligned to defined goals
  • Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
  • Optimize content according to SEO and UX best practice
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
  • Use marketing automation systems for lead nurturing and scoring
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase conversions and web traffic
  • Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new strategies to draw audience's attention

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in content management in an online environment
  • Content generation, social media and email communication experience
  • Digital marketing knowledge i.e. Google Analytics, WMT an advantage
  • Proven ability to be able to develop and maintain relationships with a large range of stakeholders internally and externally
  • Demonstrate initiative, leadership, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • An excellent communicator and presenter
  • A strong team player and be able to work collaboratively with others to a common goal.

  • Creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals
  • Sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices
  • Professional with demonstrable creative writing and editing skills as well as experience producing with other content types i.e. online interactive content, videos, whiteboard explainers, etc.
  • Manage outsourced teams including content creation and social media
  • Able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, lead generation, nurturing and scoring, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.
