Job description

           The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Bangkok is looking to hire an entry-level, full-time Assistant Admin and Protocol Officer to join the Administration Section. As the Assistant Admin and Protocol Officer, your main responsibilities are to support the Embassy in the following:

  • Assist in the organization of all social and official functions hosted by the Embassy
  • Assist in receiving and sending off guests of the Ambassador and other staff when required
  • Assist in the processing of ASEAN and Singapore Scholarship applications
  • Assist in hotel and transportation bookings for visiting delegations
  • Assist in receiving and sending off delegations at hotel and/or airport
  • Coordinate the Embassy’s participation in charity events and bazaars
  • Liaise with external bodies, including the Thai MFA Protocol, Airport VIP Complex, airlines, hotels and restaurants
  • Cover for the Telephone Operator/Receptionist whenever required

Qualification

To apply, you must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Thai nationality
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Thai and English
  • A keen interest in current affairs and politics
  • IT savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication skills
  • A good Bachelor’s degree (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

          Employment offers are subject to successful clearance of medical and pre-employment checks. The appointment, with a probation period of 6 months, is a full-time position for a 3-year contract, with provision for contract extension.
