Business Director (Starting January 2026) 

Bangkok Patana School invites applications for the position of Business Director, a key leadership role responsible for shaping the strategic and operational direction of the School. As Thailand’s oldest and largest British international school, Bangkok Patana School is a beacon of excellence in academics, sports, the arts, and holistic student development. We deliver a rigorous and enriching education through the English National Curriculum, (I)GCSEs, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP). The Business Department plays a pivotal role in supporting the school’s operations and long-term strategic goals. The Business Department has eight main sections, each led by a Director: 

• Admissions 
• Facilities 
• Marketing 
• Finance 
• Government Relations and Health and Safety 
• Human Resources 
• IT 
• Services 

As our school is a not-for-profit organisation, we do not have shareholders. The Bangkok Patana School Foundation Board ensures the organisation is maintained and protected now and into the future. 

Candidate Profile 

The successful candidate is likely to fit most, if not all, of the following profile. 

Experience and Qualifications 

The successful applicant will have at least ten years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience in at least one of the general administrative areas of finance, strategic planning, human resources or a related field. Prior experience in education and/or with not-for-profit organisations is a benefit. At least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution in business, public administration, finance or a closely related field. A post-graduate degree is preferred.
