Job description

Line Manager: Marketing & Admissions Director (initially until that appointment is made ICT Director)

This job entails working directly with the Headmaster and the Marketing Task Group under the direct supervision of the Marketing & Admissions Director to ensure school initiatives, market promotion and parental communication is supported through a strong and relevant digital presence (all social media vehicles and the school website). Strong liaison with all sections of the school community as well as local government and businesses is a vital requirement, and contributing to the school’s marketing strategy is expected. Preparing and writing copy in both English (and preferably) Thai, and working closely with the Admissions & Marketing team, Business Development team, IT Team and the senior Graphics Officer, is a vital responsibility.

An ability to self-motivate and initiate is important, with a strong focus on attracting students from other countries.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overseeing and maintaining the school digital media channels, with a priority on Marketing, but including liaising, and networking with parents (existing and prospective), PTA, students and other elements of the school community.

  • Supporting the Marketing & Admissions Director to develop, and deliver against, a market strategy as discussed and approved by the Marketing Task Group (MTG)
  • Advising on effective digital marketing, and maintaining a strong presence on social media.
  • Overseeing the materials sent digitally through the Marketing web address, and monitoring activity on digital channels.
  • Preparation of advertising and promotional materials both for national (Thai and English) and international publications and platforms.
  • Assisting the Marketing and Admissions Director in developing and maintaining good relations with Media outlets within Phuket and the Region.
  • Writing and distributing press releases after consultation with the Senior Management Team of the school and/or the MTG.
  • Supervisory control for all published or posted material, including images, artwork and copyright materials.
  • Maintaining and up-dating mailing databases;
  • General monitoring of the contents of the school website and reporting to the MTG for any necessary action.
  • Other duties appropriate to the position as assigned by the Headmaster, Marketing and Admissions Director and the CEO.
  • The successful applicant should have strong digital media and marketing experience, preferably supported with appropriate qualifications, and he/she should be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to communicate in Thai would also be advantageous though not essential.
  • Ability to ensure a presence on digital social media is essential.
  • Ability to initiate and implement marketing strategy is essential.

Qualification

  • Degree in related fields
  • More than 2-3 years of experience in Digital/Online Marketing or related fields
  • Fluent English/ Native English SpeakingPlease
