The purpose of this position is to develop and monitor effective implementation of IPPF humanitarian capacity building strategy. The successful candidate will coordinate development, dissemination and implementation of different training materials. She/he will provide remote and on-site support to the regional and country Advisors and build their capacity on coordination and implementation of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Emergencies (SRHRiE).
You will have a graduate qualification in public health/education/training degree or equivalent with proven experience or track record in capacity building and practical knowledge and understanding of international humanitarian aid systems and agencies.
You have advanced experience in the relevant field (e.g. public health, training) with considerable professional field experience specifically in capacity building in humanitarian settings. Ability to design training curriculum and training materials, facilitate training, provide technical assistance.
You are supportive women’s right to choose and to have access to safe abortion services. This is an occupational requirement of this post, in accordance with Schedule 9 Part 3 of the Equality Act 2010.
