IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all.  We are a world-wide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

The purpose of this position is to contribute in upholding Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of all the people, particularly the affected people in humanitarian setting under the umbrella of the IPPF’s humanitarian programme. The successful candidate will provide clinical and technical assistance to Member Associations for quality Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) service provision and build institutional capacities to provide these services during emergencies.

You will have a medical/technical education, preferably with graduate qualification in Reproductive Health / Public Health / Social Medicine / equivalent with substantial experience of working in Sexual and Reproductive Health in Emergencies (SRHiE) including implementation of Minimum Initial Standard Package (MISP).

Experience in managing multi-site service delivery and working with multiple partners. Significant experience in humanitarian settings – including preparedness, disaster response and recovery, fragility and conflict.

You are supportive of women’s right to choose and to have access to safe abortion services. This is an occupational requirement of this post, in accordance with Schedule 9 Part 3 of the Equality Act 2010.
