Job description

  • Responsible for the development of sales policies and procedures for motorbikes offered through company’s Showroom.
  • Ensure that the files for all motorbikes offered through showroom consignment programs are properly documented and maintained as required by company policy.
  • Regularly share information with Sub-dealers on what motorbikes are currently listed in the Showroom and stock and the current values of those vehicles.
  • Arrange and maintain the showroom display of motorbikes. Ensure that each displayed motorbike has an informational package that clearly and concisely describes relevant and sustainable factual information about the vehicle.
  • Work closely with the General Manager of Consignment, follow up on all presented motorbike purchase and consignment leads.
  • The incumbent will be tasked with the development of an annual marketing program to generate consignments.
  • Regularly review with Controller what advertising budget is available.
  • Prepare an annual budget for the sales department. Monitor and maintain the expenses of the department within the approved budget.
  • Organize meetings with team to determine Deal status, salesperson performance with face-to-face inquiries and telephone inquiries, direct follow-up practices, direction on coaching/training requirements, trade-in and reconditioning status.
  • Build working relationships internally with other departments within company and externally with vendors, business associates, and dealers.
  • Greeting customers, discussing their needs and advising them on the most suitable vehicle
  • Negotiating sale and trade-in prices
  • Working out finance arrangements and packages, which may include organising registration plates, road tax and delivery of vehicles
  • Highlighting any additional products relevant to the customer
  • Processing orders and completing relevant paperwork, which may include carrying out stock checks using manufacturers’ databases
  • Updating customers on the progress of orders and contacting potential customers to update them about new vehicles and deals
  • Updating stock lists
  • Keeping the forecourt and motorbikes clean and tidy
  • Providing potential customers with relevant literature and information
  • Inspecting vehicles pre- and post- sale
  • Attending auctions

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree or higher.
  • Male / Female age between 35 - 50 years old
  • At least 5 years experience  in Showroom Manager especially in motorcycle parts business. 
  • Experience in motorcycle manufacturer will be an advantage
  • Eager, enthusiastic with good team working skill
  • Good command in temper and task management to achieve section target
  • Good presentation skills in both Thai and English
  • Ability to communicate in English is an advantage is an advantage 
  • Computer literacy (excel, word, power point, access)
