Job description

  • Play a major role in the coordination of project contracting activities for a new major project.
  • Contribute to the development of project contracting policies and procedures in coordination with Legal, Finance, Compliance colleagues to ensure contracts are executed in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a critical interface with the various CEPSA Legal, Risk Management, Compliance and Controller vehicles on contract related issues.
  • Prepare and administer relevant 3rd party contracts.
  • Work with project Managers and their teams to contribute to the development of contracting strategies, plans and tactics.
  • Lead project teams in the preparation of bid documents, prequalification documents, bid requests, bid evaluations, contract negotiations and contractor selection.
  • Coordinate the post-award contract administration, including change management, lien waivers, insurance issues, claims mitigation and contract close-out.
  • Ensure that compliance needs of contracts are satisfied including insurance certificates, authority levels and contract approvals.
  • Serve as a key contact point for audits.
  • Ensure that executed project contract agreements are entered and maintained in the Database System for Contractor invoice payment and accounting purposes.
  • Review contractor nominated subcontractor bid lists for acceptability.
  • Manage relevant contract related contractor correspondence.
  • Maintain contract file system in a logical and functional state.

Qualification

  • Proactive, team-worker, service-oriented
  • Negotiation skills
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in E&P services, mainly pre-award.
  • Required experience in Drilling /work overs / production, preferred in offshore projects. Also valuable in facilities and support services
  • Good communication skills in English - Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
