- Play a major role in the coordination of project contracting activities for a new major project.
- Contribute to the development of project contracting policies and procedures in coordination with Legal, Finance, Compliance colleagues to ensure contracts are executed in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Acts as a critical interface with the various CEPSA Legal, Risk Management, Compliance and Controller vehicles on contract related issues.
- Prepare and administer relevant 3rd party contracts.
- Work with project Managers and their teams to contribute to the development of contracting strategies, plans and tactics.
- Lead project teams in the preparation of bid documents, prequalification documents, bid requests, bid evaluations, contract negotiations and contractor selection.
- Coordinate the post-award contract administration, including change management, lien waivers, insurance issues, claims mitigation and contract close-out.
- Ensure that compliance needs of contracts are satisfied including insurance certificates, authority levels and contract approvals.
- Serve as a key contact point for audits.
- Ensure that executed project contract agreements are entered and maintained in the Database System for Contractor invoice payment and accounting purposes.
- Review contractor nominated subcontractor bid lists for acceptability.
- Manage relevant contract related contractor correspondence.
- Maintain contract file system in a logical and functional state.
Qualification
- Proactive, team-worker, service-oriented
- Negotiation skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in E&P services, mainly pre-award.
- Required experience in Drilling /work overs / production, preferred in offshore projects. Also valuable in facilities and support services
- Good communication skills in English - Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
