Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, an automotive company operated under the umbrella of Daimler AG, the world's largest manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, was founded on January 14, 1998. Mercedes-Benz Thailand handles the importation, assembly, and distribution of passenger cars and commercial vehicles as well as provides full maintenance and after-sales services to its clientele.

We are currently looking for qualified candidates to join the first class team according to the following position

Job description

  • Coordinate with all staff, showing their strength and weakness, enhancing team spirit and motivation
  • Implement training plan, train and assess staff on Quality matters, including supervise staff from Thonburi Automotive Assembly Plant
  • Set up, prioritize and monitor targets to guarantee information flow on all important issues
  • Manage and monitor Local Content (LC) parts for good quality of delivery and take action, including monitor and follow up with supplier on LC parts issued in production line, Non Conformity issued by Quality Control tools e.g. Quality feedback, 8D etc. and summarize monthly evaluate quality score for LC supplier performance
  • Manage and monitor the audit of LC supplier in development phase and Start of Production phase according to ISO requirement, Daimler process audit base on VDA6.3, standard and Daimler AG guideline, including follow up corrective/preventive action and regular reporting to all concerned persons
  • Implant audit process, follow up and monitor all necessary corrective and/or preventive action
  • Maintain quality of local supplier and support quality issue from other Completed Knock Down plant in ASEAN in scope of the suppliers located in Thailand
  • Review report and follow up on weekly/monthly basis for System/Process and LC supplier

Qualification

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Over 5-years experience in manufacturing process, automotive process/product or parts, Automotive industry is preferable
  • Familiar/live with quality system such as ISO9001, VDA, ISO/TS 16949, ISO14001 and 5 Packs (Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Measurement System Analysis)
  • Have strong interpersonal skill and skill of diplomacy, negotiation, supervision and analysis
  • Open minded and good teamwork
  • Computer literacy
  • Good command of English
