- He/she must be a Thai citizen under age 28, fluent in both Thai and English.
- The latter shall be the office language hence the knowledge of Japanese is not necessary.
- He/she is expected to help Japanese correspondents follow politics, business, culture and other news in Thailand by translating what appear in Thai media and directly obtaining information from other sources.
- Also expected is to arrange interviews with those who are making news as well as leading academics.
It is a full-time job and involves trips outside Bangkok when necessary. Journalistic background is welcome but not required. Basic monthly salary: negotiable.
