Multi-lingual IB World School
Concordian International School (CIS) is the premier school in Thailand offering a multilingual program in a full IB environment. We offer all divisions of the International Baccalaureate Program from Nursery to Grade 12.
In the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) from Nursery up to Grade 4, students are immersed in English and Mandarin, with Thai as an additional target language.

Job description
REPORTS TO: High School Counselor
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The secretary is often the first contact the public has with the school. The secretary is expected to act in such a manner as to make the first impression a positive one. Communications, records and office management are expected to confirm the highest standards of professionalism
- Be courteous in all dealings with parents, students and employees.
- Provide correspondence, newsletters and announcements for the counselor
- Assist the counselor with schedules and permanent records
- Collect information on colleges for students
- Monitor student’s completion of college applications and assist students in meeting application deadline, mailing process and follow-up results
- Organize and Coordinate for college visits
- Coordinate with outside organization/companies for the students who are interested to do internships
- Be responsible for use of computerized college and financial aid information in addition to coordinating community volunteers assisting students with the same
- Take minutes of the counselors meeting
- Organize for counseling department events or activities
- Problem Solving on any matter related to counseling
- Update alumni database
- Translation of documents/letters as requested by the director and principals
- Performs other duties as assigned by High School Counselor
Qualification
- College degree with more than 2 years’ experience in secretary
- Good IT/computer skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, proactive in problem-solving and service minded.
- Proficient in written and oral English
- Good character reference from previous employer
- Acceptable professional and ethical standards
- Confidentiality, courtesy, cooperation, positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, accuracy, efficiency, timeliness in respect to deadlines and respectfulness towards others.
