Job description

We are urgently seeking permanent personal with the above experience to join a new and rapidly growing and exciting business. The role will allow the successful candidates to work alongside a highly skilled team and the chance to gain much valued experience in Australian Construction Industry. Reporting to the General Manager your main responsibilities include the following;

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, managing and maintaining document control system, procedures and process for the project, and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for work assignments and supervision of document control and project administration staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring resources under direct supervision perform in accordance with project procedures and requirements.
  • Directs and advises project document control and administration staff in best practices relating to document control.
  • Liaise with all departments for manual revisions, updates, and distribution.
  • Maintain controlled distribution of all company documents
  • To ensure that changes and the current revision status of documents are identified.
  • To ensure that relevant versions of applicable documents are available at points of use.
  • To ensure that documents of external origin are identified and their distribution controlled.
  • Establish and maintain all documentation including receiving, logging, filing and distribution to and from the Designers, Architects, Engineers, other client consultants, Sub-contractors and field personnel
  • Organization and oversight of all construction documentation
  • Training will be provided if require on software

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years experiences in document control functions with at least 5 years experiences in directing a document control team as team leader.
  • Good command of computer literacy in Ms Office applications.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge in electronic document control systems and document management applications i.e. AroFlo or IMS system would be an advantage.
  • High degree of self-learning & high responsibility.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a multinational project team.
