Harrow International School Bangkok was founded in 1998 as the first Harrow International School in Asia and is now mature and thriving, with 1,400 students on our green 35 acre site in North Bangkok, Thailand.

Job description

  • Input of attendance into the co-curricular database
  • Processing amendments and cancellations to the initial enrolment choices of the students, either by approval from the Director of Leadership in Action or by request from the organising activities provider
  • Monitoring co-curricular attendance and communicating the relevant information to Heads of Houses, Head of Prep, Head of Lower School and the Director of Leadership in Action
  • Collecting and inputting details from Budget Forms for House Camps and Expeditions
  • Managing Activities Registers received from all school sections
  • Filing of related Leadership in Action documentation
  • Supporting the work of the Leadership in Action Department and Expeditions staff
  • Producing, in conjunction with the Director of Leadership in Action and Expedition Coordinator, the Expeditions Booklet
  • General secretarial/administrative work as instructed by the Director of Leadership in Action, and expeditions staff
  • Assisting with the training of Administrative staff and Teacher Assistants in Emergency First Response
  • Assisting with general secretarial/administrative work as instructed by the Director of Leadership in Action, and expeditions staff
  • Supporting whole school events by offering expertise to assist organizer
  • Maintaining noticeboards and other LiA documentation
  • Helping with Expedition pre-visits and liaison with resorts – including translations
  • Helping with Leadership in Action lessons and activities such as the Ride for Rainbow, Chaiyapruk Ride, Harvesting weekends, Rafting and Adventure race.

Qualification

  • Thai Nationality
  • Bachelor Degree 
  • Several years relevant experience, preferably in an international school
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • A responsible attitude
  • Good command of English, spoken and written
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and to work without close supervision
  • Willingness to learn.
