Job description

This role is responsible for providing analytical and operational support to the FIT Operations goals and strategies including the understanding, analysis and documentation of business processes. This role is fundamentally important as it enables the review of existing business processes, linked to operations technology and customer service channels to achieve short, medium and long term goals to provide outstanding customer service experiences for GTA’s FIT customers and clients and to ensure the drive for ongoing efficiency is maintained.

 

Key activities 

  • Driving continuous focus on business process improvement, targeted process engineering and transactional process design.
  • Promote process standardisation, identify variability in operational processes and understand opportunities to drive greater consistency.
  • Support business transformation initiatives in the transition of low complex/high volume transactional processing to Bangkok GPC as well as to all other parts of APMEA Operations.                                                  
  • Drive process optimisation through the removal of non-value add wastage and increasing value proposition of the customer service teams
  • Conduct quantitative statistical analysis to understand and present data to senior management to help them make well informed decisions.
  • Facilitate process teams through modelling and the use of LEAN, Six Sigma.
  • Facilitate the documentation, monitoring and analysis of global processes
  • Recommend improvements in processes, systems and structures to reduce waste and continually improve performance
  • Use industry standard Project Management methodologies to plan, implement and track deliverables
  • Act as stream lead to represent operations systems and processes in company-wide projects , provide data / or solutions using our current customer service technologies to support strategic programs , respond to voice of customer demands and enable success in business objectives
  • Build and maintain key support relationships with stakeholders and dependent operations e.g. sales , sourcing, IT and marketing

 

Complexity 

  • Work will often involve interpreting or assessing processes and data, identifying improvement opportunities generating original ideas and testing innovative solutions where these are not obvious.

Qualification

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Qualifications

  • Process analysis and re-engineering (Optimisation, standardisation, transformation) experience within the service industry sector highly desirable
  • Project management experience with professional certification (PRINCE II or equivalent)
  • Capability to partner with senior stakeholders is essential
  • Proven track record in a similar process-centred role essential
  • LEAN, Six Sigma experience highly desirable
  • Strong analytic and reporting skills
  • Delivering to stretching targets
  • Timely decision making and decision quality
  • Managing conflicting priorities
  • Contact Centre and CRM skills would be desirable
  • Clear communicator with presentation skills
