Purpose of the Position
Under the supervision of the Chief of Private Sector Fundraising, the post is responsible for managing and growing corporate fundraising income, working proactively to identify prospects and develop relationships to create long-term, innovative and successful corporate partnerships.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a resource mobilization strategy for the corporate sector. The strategy and its implementation will include; developing a pipeline of potential partners, account managing current partners, responding to reactive proposals, developing and giving pitch proposals and negotiating with high level leaders in order to meet or exceed income targets.
- Responsible for preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the resource mobilization strategy and work plan for the corporate sector, including compiling and analyzing relevant data.
- Responsible for preliminary screenings of potential corporate partners for further review/execution by the supervisor, lead on initial negotiations and develop partnership agreements in line with UNICEF’s policies.
Qualification
- Advanced university degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
** A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. **
- Minimum two years, preferably 5 years or more, of relevant professional work experience in corporate relations, corporate engagement, corporate fundraising or public relations/marketing activities.
- Thai Nationals.
- Experience in an international organization desirable, familiarity with UN systems is a plus.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai required.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and especially in word processing and spreadsheets is a must.
- Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and execute ideas.
- Ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
- Good analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and a track record of success.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in an international multicultural environment.
