Mercedes-Benz Thailand handles the importation, assembly, and distribution of passenger cars and commercial vehicles as well as provides full maintenance and after-sales services to its clientele.

We are currently looking for qualified candidates to join the first class team according to the following position

Job description

JOB SCOPE:

1. Retail consulting: 

Consulting of Mercedes-Benz dealerships with focus on process and organisation and based on targets jointly defined by the MBTh sales and network development department. Comprehensive analysis phase covering existing tasks and functions, processes, organisation and qualification of dealership staff. Development of recommendations to optimise the processes and efficiency potentials in the dealership. Joint implementation of these recommendations with the responsible dealership staff telephone follow up activities and further support as required. Measurement of consulting target achievement as the basis to determine bonus payment to dealer

2. Sales skills training:

- Identify and conduct the sales-training plan that reflects both Sales & Marketing’s and training needs of dealer network.  Continuously coordinate with Marketing Strategy/ Planning to ensure that sales-training programs support the launching of any new models of Mercedes-Benz (MB) brand

3. C-Management (Sales) training:

- Identify and conduct the management-training plan that reflects management requirements and training needs of dealer network.  Continuously train dealer’s management to ensure their management expertise in managing the MB brand

4. Establishment of information exchange with field force: 

- Design of a process to ensure the information exchange between retail consulting and the sales and network development field force. Regular update to the relevant field force colleagues regarding  retail consulting activities of “their” dealers

5. Sales training analysis: 

- Provide the Management with analytical information on training analysis and results on a regular basis to contribute to the right planning and decision-making, as well as to ensure that MBTh’s dealer network and internal parties stay ahead of competitors both in terms of product and other necessary knowledge and skills

6. People development:

- Keep abreast of knowledge and information necessary for professional development and the contribution to the Company

7. Database: 

- Establish and maintain sales staff database as a training tool for the sales staff to keep updated their product knowledge

Qualification

  • Master degree in Marketing, Business Analysis or related field
  • At least 5 years experience preferably in sales and marketing function in Mercedes-Benz or other automotive companies and 3 years experience in Supervisor level
  • Have analytical, conceptual and methodological skills (consulting skill preferred)
  • Strong leadership and be confident Communicator
  • Innovative system-thinker, empathetic and customer-oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • Good command of MS Office applications
  • Able to communicate in Thai fluently (listening , speaking, reading and writing)
