The HIV/AIDS Section, UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office is seeking an individual consultant to provide support on editing the video clips of interviews with representatives from Ministry of Health in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Thailand and Vietnam to be uploaded on the UN Asia-Pacific Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission of HIV (PPTCT) Task Force website and to be used during the 10th UN Asia-Pacific PPTCT Task Force meeting from 15-17 September 2015 in Beijing, China.
Work Assignment:
Under the supervision of the HIV/AIDs Specialist Knowledge and Advocacy, the consultant will undertake the following assignments:
- Prepare concept note that includes key messages to be highlighted in each of the eight short video clips for the PPTCT website.
- Edit the video interviews and produce eight short one-minute video clips for the PPTCT website.
- Provide the eight completed video clips in CD-ROM for Future use.
Work Schedule and Expected deliverables:
- First draft version of the eight one-minute videos to be submitted by 30 April 2015.
- Final edited version of the eight one-minute videos to be submitted by 15 May 2015 and not later than 1 June 2015.
End Product(s):
CD-ROMs with eight final version of the videos (approx. one–minute each highlighting key messages on elimination of parent to child transmission of HIV).
Estimated Duration of Contract: 20 days, starting from 20 April – 1 June 2015.
Official Travel: Consultant will be telecommuting from his/her premises.
Qualification
Qualifications or Specialized Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Proven record of having experience in producing and editing video clips;
- Good command of the English language with proven ability to conceptualize, analyze and articulate ideas in writing for all types of media and audiences;
- Knowledge of computer management and mobile applications and devices;
- Flexible, proactive, takes initiative, and works well under time pressure;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
