Alpithai International Co. Ltd. is an Italian owned Garment Company  established since 1991. Our factory is in Laos while the head office is in Bangkok with branch offices in  Shanghai, Bangladesh and Italy. The Company's principal activities are producing outerwear and sportswear for men, women and children. The production is based on top category contract work and is orientated in the European markets. Due to rapid expansion that has taken place in the last few years, we are now looking for high calibre individuals to be based at our office Bangkok.

Job description

Office management

  • Overall management of the company and its’ subsidiaries.
  • Design, implement and organize office operations and procedures
  • Supervise office staff
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
  • Handle procurement of stationeries, office equipment and spare parts/tools/accessories while reducing and minimizing any waste of the same.
  • Monitor and maintain the use of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintenance of all Buildings under the Company
  • Manage life and medical insurance
  • Airline booking, visa and work permit arrangement for the expatriate and their relatives
  • Center of all Buyer’s contract
  • Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
  • Managing Office Petty cash
  • Arrange Annual Company trip
  • Arrange Annual New Year Party
  • Arrange Staff Annual Physical check-up
  • Sourcing and Procure machineries and spare parts for the factory in Laos
  • Responsible for the IT department

HR

  • Personnel screening and recruitment process for the whole Group whenever or wherever there is a requirement.
  • Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Consult on employee relation matters, job classifications, and employee morale issues. Work with management and employees on a day to day basis to prevent and solve employee problems.
  • Educate the staff about company rules and regulations and ensure it is followed very strictly.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the human resources activities e.g. external recruitment, performance management, goals & performance appraisal, reward etc.
  • Provide Training for the staff when required. Contact various training centers to get the details and information.

Assistant to MD

  • Personal Assistant to the MD
  • Set-up and maintain a document filing system
  • Manages all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Manages the office agenda
  • Prepares visits e.g. hotel booking, flight tickets, visa, transportation etc.
  • Acts as a first point of contact for visitors 

Qualification

  • Age 35 years and above
  • Bachelor degree or higher with more than 7 years experience in the same position
  • Excellent in spoken & written English is a must
  • Discreet with good interpersonal and team work skills
  • Self-motivating and resourceful with proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressure
