MEBS Global, an international freight forwarder with offices in 10 countries worldwide, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Bangkok office.
The Thailand Operations Manager will be required to:
- Help develop a nation-wide network of transporters
- Oversee customs clearance of company shipments
- Coordinate between MEBS Global offices, MEBS clients, and local vendors
- Assist with business development efforts in Thailand
- Coordinate hiring and training of junior operations staff
Qualification
The candidate for Operations Manager must be a Thai national with excellent spoken and written English skills and experience working with international logistics companies, the oil and gas industry, and/or NGOs. Experience with Myanmar-related business is preferred. Strong customer service and negotiation skills required. The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience and a bachelor degree in related field.
