Job description

EDC is beginning to implement a new workforce development project that will strengthen universities and vocational centers in the Lower Mekong sub-region. This project seeks to bridge the gap between the private sector, universities and vocational centers in order to ensure the supply of skilled workers meets the demands from local businesses. 

EDC is looking for technical and operations staff with a variety of skills to work in its Bangkok office.

General Qualifications:

  • Experience with donor-funded projects strongly preferred;
  • Prior experience working for an international NGO preferred;
  • Experience working with international donors, as well as counterparts and beneficiaries;
  • Able to work independently and effectively in a team environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong proficiency in English and Thai.

Responsible for implementing a results-oriented, accurate and reliable monitoring and evaluation system including regular data collection in the field, timely and accurate reporting of results for project indicators. S/He will ensure that data appearing on project websites and portals is continually updated and accurate. S/he will provide intensive support, and ensure the quality of the deliverables from the M&E project team.  

Qualification

  • Master’s Degree required;
  • Competence in qualitative and quantitative study design and implementation;
  • Extensive experience with monitoring program implementation using qualitative and quantitative approaches as demonstrated by examples of previous work;
  • Experience working with a diverse array of stakeholders in monitoring and evaluating data;
  • Experience using data analysis packages such as SAS or SPSS and database management systems, preferably Access and Excel;
  • Experience in developing and coordinating data collection, processing and analysis systems;
  • Experience in conducting evaluations is preferred;
  • Strong technical writing skills.
