About Our Client

          Our client, headquartered in Singapore, is a dynamic technology firm. They develop, market and deliver solutions for content publishers and network service providers to enable them to deliver multimedia content over the Internet to any device. Due to continued growth within the region, our client is looking to hire a Security Consultant in Bangkok to support their Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities.

Job Description

As a Security Consultant, you will lead the technical support during pre-sales and post-sales. Your support activities will include:

  • Conduct product presentations to partners/customers at levels from Engineer to CIO
  • Respond to RFI/RFP, tender etc.
  • Conduct product demonstration, evaluation testing with partners/customers
  • Provide technical solution designs for implementing Content Delivery (CDN)
  • Conduct on-going product training/updates to partners/customers
  • Create and maintain strong relationship with key accounts
  • Project and knowledge transfer to deployment team

Qualification

The Successful Applicant

To qualify you have a:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong experience in design and solution for: Network, Systems, Security, Cloud/Virtualization etc.
  • Strong in customer facing presentation (high level or detail solutions)
  • Hands on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network equipment: Router, Switch, Access Point (Cisco, Alcatel), Firewall (Juniper, Checkpoint, Cisco, F5), Application Delivery (F5), Web Application and WAN Accelerator (F5, Riverbed), Proxy/Caching (Blue Coat, NetCache, F5), IDS/IPS (ISS, McAfee), SSL VPN (Juniper, Cisco, F5)
  • Strong knowledge of WAN technologies such as ILC/LLC, Frame Relay, ATM, ISDN, MetroEthernet, MPLS
  • Strong knowledge of secure connections setup like IPSec VPN & SSL VPN
  • Strong knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, etc. routing protocols
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining various network monitoring tools (MRTG, WhatsUp Gold, Concord eHealth, nGenius Performance Manager, Mercury SiteScope, CiscoWorks LMS, etc.)
  • Experience in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting DNS and DHCP
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and the OSI model Strong experience in Application Delivery and WAN optimization applications
